Wet Weather Plans

Wet Weather Plans 101

El Nina is here and she is here to stay! For the meantime anyway.

In Australia the summer months are commonly our wet weather season but predictions are that it’s going much wetter and stormier than normal and that’s thanks to the climatic changes of El Nina.

These types of weather systems can make things highly unpredictable.

So what can you do so you’re not caught out? Have a wet weather plan!

Make sure you have open communication with the venue you choose and that they offer or have available a wet weather option.

Keep reading below for some venues I can recommend that offer indoor options!

Brisbane

If a more private intimate wedding is what you’re after, you could consider Essence Suits Taringa or Collins Gazebo Redland Bay.

So don’t be worried about the weather potentially ruining your day, there are definitely options should the weather not be in your favour. Don’t forget photographers take spectacular photos on a cloudy day rather than direct sunshine. And just think of the cute accessories you could add, like gumboots and clear or white umbrellas. Or if boho is more your vibe, a gorgeous bespoke umbrella would partner well in any photo.
